Underwriter

Responsibilities

• Direct contact with field force to gather financial and medical information on clients, communicate underwriting risk assessment decisions and to assist the field throughout the underwriting process.
• May travel to field offices, presents via Microsoft Teams, conference calls or other technology as necessary to coach and train advisors on the underwriting process and to build relationships with financial advisors.
• Required Qualifications
• Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
• 1 - 3 years relevant experience required
• Demonstrated analytical skills
• Demonstrated decision making skills
• This role requires employees to work on site (3 days/week) at our Minneapolis headquarters for training (approximately 3 - 6 months). After successful training, employee is eligible to work remotely.
