Responsibilities
- Safety Program Development: Develop and implement safety policies, procedures, and protocols to Telcom , Construction and Renewable Energy installation and maintenance activities.
- Compliance: Ensure work sites are compliance with MOM's Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations and Code of Practices (CPs), including OSHA standards and industry best practices.

- Safety Inspections: Conduct regular site inspections and audits to assess safety performance, identify hazards, and ensure adherence to safety standards of subcontractors and site personnel.
- Emergency Preparedness: Develop emergency response plans and procedures including evacuation plans and first aid protocols.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, training sessions, and compliance documentation.
- Promotion of Safety Culture: Promote a strong safety culture through communication, training, and recognition programs.
- Collaboration with Different Stakeholders: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to integrate safety considerations into project planning and execution.
- Qualification:
- Possess minimum WSQ Specialist Diploma in Workplace Safety and Health and/or Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health (Level B).
- Proven experience as a Safety Coordinator or similar role in the construction or renewable energy industry.
- In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and standards relevant to solar PV installations.
- Professional certifications such as OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety, First Aid/CPR, and/or Certified Safety Professional (CSP) are highly desirable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess risks and develop effective safety solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in MS Office and experience with safety management systems/software.
