About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Mechatronics / Robotics Technician to join our team full-time. This role goes beyond assembly - the ideal candidate will not only build drones and related systems but also design and implement test benches, onboard modules, and prototypes to support development, testing, and production. This is a hands-on position that combines electronics, mechanical assembly, and problem-solving, making it ideal for someone with a passion for drones, robotics, or related technologies. Responsibilities and Duties Assemble drones and subsystems (mechanical, electrical, and electronic) based on schematics, drawings, and specifications. Perform precise soldering, wiring, and component integration. Integrate sensors, flight controllers, and peripheral modules. Design and build custom test benches, fixtures, and rigs for validating drone software, components and systems. Design and implement automated processes and test rigs for continuous integration tests. Perform functional and stress testing on drones, modules, and electronics. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with electrical, mechanical, or software-related systems. Assist with the design and fabrication of new modules, models, and prototypes. Utilize 3D printing, machining, and basic CAD tools for rapid prototyping. Collaborate with engineers to refine designs and suggest improvements. Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards during assembly and testing. Maintain accurate logs of assembly processes, test results, and component performance. Contribute to continuous improvement of processes, documentation, and workflows. Qualifications and Skills Hands-on experience in electronics, robotics, or mechanical assembly. Experience with drones, RC aircraft is a plus (professional or hobbyist). Proficiency in soldering, wiring, crimping, and electrical troubleshooting. Experience with CAD software (e.g., Onshape, Fusion 360, SolidWorks, or similar) and 3D printing techniques. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals. Knowledge of embedded systems, sensors, and flight controllers is a plus. Strong attention to detail with a problem-solving mindset. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities. DE/EU Citizenship is a must have.
