Technical Consultant - Cloud Native Job Description As a Technology Consultant/Expert, you will serve as a senior technical architect and trusted advisor, leading complex customer engagements focused on designing, deploying, and optimizing solutions built on SUSE technologies. You will be responsible for delivering advanced hands-on technical configurations including automation scripting for example. This role demands a significant understanding of the appropriate segment of the SUSE Portfolio, a deep grasp of complementary technologies, and the ability to influence and guide both customers and internal teams. You will proactively drive customer success, lead scoping activities for large-scale projects, and champion customer needs within product development, showcasing excellent Stakeholder Management and Technical Architecture capabilities. How You'll Contribute Act as a technical architect for SUSE technologies, providing strategic guidance and expertise to customers. Work with customers to design and deploy solutions based on SUSE technologies, ensuring their successful implementation. Carry out advanced hands-on configuration and coding activities as required to address customer requirements Maintain an advanced-level understanding of the SUSE portfolio of products, staying current with new releases and features. Possess a significant understanding of complementary technologies , such as other distributions of Linux, Kubernetes, etc., leveraging this knowledge to provide comprehensive solutions. Provide Scoping activity for all engagement types , including large-scale and complex customer use cases, demonstrating expertise in Scoping Activity. Able to demonstrate the impact and articulate the benefits of SUSE technologies for users as it relates to their specific use case. Your Communication Skills will be crucial in conveying this value. Establish and maintain long-term relationships with users and establish contact with their management as required, showcasing strong Relationship Building. Own entire customer engagement , ensuring successful project delivery and customer satisfaction (scope and timeline). This highlights your expertise in Customer Engagement. Provide internal feedback and make constructive suggestions to improve Services offerings, contributing to Process Improvement. Provide leadership and channel feedback throughout the lifecycle of customer engagements. Understand feature requests and advocate for customers and users with Product Management and/or Engineering, influencing product development. Work with existing customers to improve customer satisfaction , actively driving positive outcomes. Work effectively in a proactive manner with both customers and colleagues, including working across Regions, e.g., to share Best Practices and foster Teamwork. Skills Required Automation Scripting : Proven experience in developing and implementing automation scripts for system configurations and deployments.
