About the role
The Senior System Analyst plays a strategic and technical leadership role in managing and supporting financial systems for our US operations. This role will act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) in NetSuite and Datarails for the FS&BI team. This role will work closely with the US CFO team to shape system roadmaps and ensure efficient operations and support with maintaining consistent reporting standards across the group. Key Responsibilities: Financial Systems Management Lead the administration, configuration, and maintenance US financial systems including NetSuite, Datarails, and support Paylocity. Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, ensuring minimal disruption to US operations. Support system upgrades, migrations and integrations with other business applications. Collaborate with vendors and IT team to enhance system performance and functionality. Work with US stakeholders, particularly their finance team, to understand evolving requirements and recommend solutions. Act as the SME for NetSuite and Datarails. Maintain basic working knowledge of EMEA systems (Sage Intacct, Synergist, Prophix, Rippling) to support group-level activities. User Support Manage and respond to support tickets from US users, coordinating escalations as needed. Act a primary point of contact for troubleshooting and resolving US system issues. Help develop user training materials and workshops. Reporting and Analysis Design, develop and maintain US reporting in alignment with EMEA reporting standards and methodologies. Extract, clean and analyse data from NetSuite and other US systems to support decision-making. Support group level reporting by consolidating US data with EMEA systems. Manage and control new US reporting requests, providing insight and support to design and test new reporting capabilities. Create dashboard and reports for US stakeholders covering financial metrics, performance indicators and operational data. Support with ad hoc reporting for US leadership. Data Integrity and Security Conduct regular audits to identify and resolve data discrepancies in US systems. Ensure data quality and consistency for group-level consolidation activities. Process Improvement Work closely with US finance teams and EMEA counterparts to identify and implement process improvements. Develop and maintain documentation for US system processes and best practices. Capture and document data flow processes between US and EMEA systems. Compliance and Regulation Ensure financial systems are compliant with internal policies and external regulations. Experience working with NetSuite essential Experience with Datarails is highly desirable. Experience with ERP systems and financial platforms is essential. Strong understanding of financial systems administration and reporting. Excellent organisational and project management skills. Strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills. High attention to detail and methodical approach to problem solving. Proficiency in Excel, PowerBI and other data analysis tools. Experience with system integrations and process automation is a plus.
