Responsibilities
- SharePoint Administration:
- Manage and maintain SharePoint farms and site collections

- Implement proactive monitoring and alerting mechanisms
- Perform root cause analysis and incident resolution
- Participate in on-call support rotation
- Ensure high availability and system stability
- Proactively monitors the work queues
- Performs operational tasks to resolve all incidents/requests in a timely manner and within the agreed SLA.
- Identifies, investigates, analyses issues and errors prior to or when they occur, and logs all such incidents in a timely manner.
- Executes changes with clear identification of risks and mitigation plans to be captured into the change record.
- Ability to work across various other resolver group (internal and external) like Service Provider, TAC, etc.
- Identifies problems and errors before they impact a client's service
- Leads and manages all initial client escalation for operational issues.
- May work on implementing and delivering disaster recovery functions and tests.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
- Minimum 6 years of experience managing enterprise Microsoft collaboration and database platforms, including SharePoint, Microsoft SQL Server, Exchange Server/Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, and Skype for Business Server.
- Strong technical expertise in PowerShell scripting, automation, system administration, troubleshooting, and performance optimisation, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proven experience supporting hybrid environments, implementing migration strategies, and administering both on-premises and cloud-based Microsoft technologies.
- Relevant Microsoft certifications: Microsoft 365 Certified - Enterprise Administrator Expert / Azure Database Administrator Associate
