Category Public Relations and Communications Closing Date 22 June 2026 We have an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to work within the LS11 proposition team supporting the instore & online events team. You will report directly into the instore events proposition manager but also support across online. The events co-ordinator will work cross functionally with multiple stakeholders within the business including customer, media planning, POS, online, and our key agency partners, SMG, CPM & Clear silver to ensure we are getting the key detail far enough out to align our key events and maximise the opportunity with our biggest FMCG brands. The events Co-ordinator will be responsible for collating, coordinating and delivering engaging event sales collateral that support Asda's brand, commercial objectives and customer engagement strategy. You will ensure each team are hitting the RACI milestones to ensure events are delivered on time, on budget and to a high standard. "Everything about Asda" We are a values-led organisation. "More about the role" - Support the end-to-end planning and execution of Asda events, including seasonal campaigns, key calendar moments, mini moments, licence events & partnerships across instore & online media. - You will be responsible for engaging with all the key stakeholders to collate the event packs within the RACI & CP time frame, ensuring the content is factual and visually engaging for the brands. - A key part of the role will be liaising with the SMG client team, and media planning teams, to ensure we have visibility by event of the potential FMCG brands to target along with budget, ensuring you maintain the tracker for instore & online opportunities. - Following each event, you will create post event wrap up decks to share with the internal teams, which will include building in the wider business autopsy and learnings to help inform future events. - You will manage the Mill group (photography agency) relationship and ensure all the key events & detail are on the tracker each week and within the retainer budget. - Work with the SMG creative team & clear silver to ensure instore & online mock-ups are briefed in within a timely manner as per the RACI & CP. - Each quarter you will support the events manager to help co-ordinate the Merchants den pitch days, which will involve booking venue, chasing nominations etc. - Ensure all events align with Asda brand guidelines and values "Skills needed for this role" - Previous experience in an events, marketing or coordination role - Strong organisational and time-management skills - Ability to manage multiple projects at pace - Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills - High attention to detail - Confident using Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) - Creative mindset with a passion for delivering great experiences - Be a real team player Everything you'll love To ensure we balance moments where we know we need to collaborate together and the need for flexibility, Asda has a hybrid way of working with a minimum 3 days a week in one of our Home Offices.
