Responsibilities
- Perform detailed checking and verification of remittance transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Review Anti-Money Laundering (AML) transactions to identify and escalate any suspicious activities in line with AML guidelines.
- Oversee and manage a small team during the Team Lead's absence, ensuring smooth operations and timely resolution of issues.
- Assist the Head of Remittance in handling ad hoc tasks and projects as needed to support the department's goals.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records related to remittance and AML reviews.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to resolve discrepancies and enhance operational processes.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and regulatory standards in payment operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field or Tertiary Education
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in payment operations, remittance processing, or related financial services.
- Strong knowledge of AML regulations and transaction monitoring processes.
- Proven ability to supervise and lead a small team effectively.
- Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
- Proficiency in payment systems and Microsoft Office applications.
