About the role
As an Analyst (Reporting & Dashboards) at Veeam, you will define how customers monitor and make decisions across the Veeam platform. You'll work across Veeam ONE, the Veeam Data Platform, and new platform capabilities (incl. SecuritiAI), translating complex product signals into clear, scalable, actionable dashboards and reports for backup admins, IT ops, service providers, security teams, and executives.
Responsibilities
- Define requirements for reports and dashboards across Veeam solutions
- Identify and standardize key operational, performance, security, compliance, and executive metrics
- Turn telemetry/events/APIs into KPIs, visualizations, filters, drilldowns, and metric logic
- Build a consistent reporting framework (aggregation, grouping, history, drilldowns)
- Partner with PM, Engineering, Design, QA to validate data sources and deliver usable reporting
- Ensure reporting covers: protection status, SLA/RPO/RTO, capacity, performance, compliance, threat signals, exec summaries
- Technologies You'll Work With
- BI/Dashboards: Power BI / Tableau / Looker / Grafana / Kibana (or similar)
- Data: SQL, REST APIs, JSON/CSV, data models
- Observability concepts: metrics/logs/alerts, SLIs/SLOs
Requirements
- 3+ years in analytics/reporting/dashboarding/BI/observability (product-facing)
- Strong understanding of service health metrics, trends, and executive reporting
- Experience with SQL and complex data sources (telemetry/logs/events/APIs)
- Ability to write clear requirements and metric definitions and work cross-functionally
- Data protection/IT ops/backup domain knowledge (Veeam products - big plus)
