About the role
You will be maintaining and troubleshooting the hardware & infrastructure for a mission-critical Command and Control (C2) system that the client have installed for a government agency. You will be part of a team of dedicated engineers that will demonstrate superior technical competency in providing system maintenance and support during the maintenance phase, ensuring system reliability and availability, performance and security.
Responsibilities
- Warranty Administration . To maintain proper warranty records of the installed hardware. To assist in the administration of warranty claims. To inspect the components repaired by sub-contractor, and to integrate and test the repaired hardware, ensuring proper configuration control
- Field Testing. To carry out software testing on the system whenever there is a new software bug fixes or software deployment activities. To ensure the correct configuration of the system is loaded for software / system testing and before the system is used for production
- Calibration Services. To liaise with vendor to perform calibration services on the test equipment that are used for the preventive maintenance
- Perform other related duties as assigned or requested

- On 24x7 standby during rotational schedule. Able to work after office hour if activated

- Job Experience Requirements:
- Minimally 2-3 years of experience in supporting ANY of the fields such as HP server, Cisco network, UPS, RIO, PLC, outdoor racks, video wall and KVM
- Minimally 2-3 years of experience in supporting mission critical systems with very stringent SLA e.g. 99.9%
- Well-versed in IT Service Management (ITSM) standards, processes, guidelines and best practices
- Education:
- Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Engineering discipline, preferably in Electrical or Info-Communication. Those with other engineering experiences are also welcome
