The APAC Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a senior strategic leader and trusted advisor responsible for shaping and executing the financial vision of the APAC business. Reporting to the International CFO, the APAC CFO partners closely with the APAC President and regional executive leaders to drive financial strategy, optimise performance, and enable sustainable growth. This role leads all aspects of financial strategy, planning, governance, and business performance across a complex, multi‑market region. Through deep commercial insight, disciplined financial management, and strong executive influence, the APAC CFO will help steer the region's strategic direction and ensure alignment with enterprise‑wide objectives. The role may be based in Sydney or Melbourne. Some of the duties and responsibilities include: Lead, shape, and execute APAC's financial strategy, ensuring effective implementation in line with enterprise and regional objectives. Own financial planning, forecasting, target setting, and performance management processes, including oversight of liquidity, capital, and solvency management. Partner with the business to support strategy development and execution, enabling APAC's vision and the creation of sustainable customer, client, and enterprise value. Serve as a strategic business partner to the senior executive leadership team, providing insight, challenge, and decision support on complex business matters. Provide the Board and Executive Leadership with accurate, timely, and insightful financial reporting, ensuring transparency, integrity, and clarity of results. Monitor, analyze, and report on APAC's overall business and enterprise profitability, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities. Ensure adherence to the "Business Process," embedding strong governance across investment and commercial decisions. Support the evaluation and execution of new business initiatives, partnerships, and commercial opportunities through robust financial analysis and governance. Actively challenge the Executive team to drive optimal business performance, including revenue growth, cost discipline, and capital efficiency. Establish, maintain, and continuously enhance financial and operational controls, ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal governance requirements. Does this sound like you?
