Responsibilities
- Build and maintain financial models to evaluate commercial opportunities, including new customer contracts, volume commitments, and rate structures
- Support contract negotiations by preparing economic analyses, scenario runs, and pricing proposals
- Track and analyze customer volumes, revenue, and contract performance against commitments
- Assist in the development and execution of business development initiatives, including preparation of term sheets, proposals, and presentations for prospective customers
- Support customer relationship management in coordination with senior commercial staff
- Monitor basin-level market activity and competitive positioning to inform commercial strategy
- Work cross-functionally with finance, operations, and legal to ensure contract terms are accurately captured and executed
- Prepare regular reporting packages for internal stakeholders and senior leadership
Requirements
- 2 to 4 years of experience in a commercial, finance, or analytical role; midstream, energy infrastructure, or water services experience preferred
- Strong financial modeling skills in Excel; ability to build models from scratch and audit existing ones
- Ability to evaluate deals using discounted cash flow analysis and return metrics including IRR, NPV, FCF yield, and MOIC
- Working knowledge of midstream contract structures, including volume commitments, dedications, and fee-based arrangements
- Detail oriented and highly organized, with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously without sacrificing accuracy
- Experience using Enverus to export and analyze permit activity, rig counts, DUCs, remaining inventory, production profiles, and offset operator activity
- Clear written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting to internal and external audiences, with proficiency in PowerPoint
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, engineering, or a related field
