About the role

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALIST in the Contract Administration Quality Assurance Program (CAQAP) Audits and Process Controls 132 Division, Quality Assurance Department Head Code 130 of MID ATLANTIC REGIONAL MAINTENANCE CTR. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience in quality assurance and supervisory management, particularly within a naval or maritime industrial environment; Experience with expert-level knowledge of Quality Assurance (QA) principles, NAVSEA standards, and nondestructive testing (NDT) methodologies; Experience in managing a Contract Administration Quality Assurance Program (CAQAP), including developing and implementing audit programs, managing corrective actions, and overseeing a command welding program; Experience in supervising a technical workforce is essential, involving long-range planning, managing budgets, developing performance standards, and resolving personnel matters; Experience in both written and oral communication; Experience in briefing senior leadership and negotiating with external stakeholders like NAVSEA, TYCOM, and private contractors to resolve significant technical and compliance issues.
