About the role
Quality Engineer (Customer / Supplier Quality) Salary: $2,500 - $3,500 Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:45pm Working Location: Woodlands Job Responsibilities Responsible for QA documentation and data control. Supervise the practice of SPC procedures internally and initiate reaction plans for out-of-control situations. Analyse supplier CPK data and measurement results, and request actions when necessary. Assist the QA Manager in coordinating Engineering Change and Production Part Approval Process. Review, conduct necessary testing and approve OI samples submitted by suppliers. Supervise the generation of QA work instructions, procedures and part inspection plans. Conduct analysis on quality issues found by QC Inspectors and work with other departments on problem resolution. Monitor vendor quality performance and verify corrective actions to ensure effectiveness. Suggest cost reduction activities through quality improvement. Participate as a member of the APQP team, and prepare and review PPAP documents. Understand customer requirements, adapt them and share with all relevant departments. Job Requirements Minimum Diploma / ITC qualification. At least 3 years of relevant working experience, preferably in the plastic moulding industry.
