The Department of Physics is seeking a Postgraduate Education Manager (Research) to lead the delivery of high-quality administrative support for PhD provision, overseeing the full postgraduate research student lifecycle. The role will work strategically with senior leadership to develop and implement policies, process improvements, and new initiatives, whilst collaborating closely with the Postgraduate Administrators to ensure excellence in delivery. What you would be doing: You will be responsible for the strategic and operational delivery of high-quality administrative support for PhD provision in the Department of Physics, overseeing the full postgraduate research student lifecycle from enquiry through to graduation. You will be driving improvements to policies and processes and advising colleagues and students on PhD regulations. You will be maintaining robust data records, ensuring compliance with GDPR and external reporting requirements, and preparing reports to inform strategic decision-making. You will also be managing marketing campaigns, overseeing stakeholder communications, monitoring budgets, and ensuring the health and safety responsibilities of all PGR staff and students are effectively upheld. You will also be responsible for line management of the PGR Administrator(s).
