About the role
You'll own the full sales cycle for our enterprise accounts: Fortune 500 brand teams, major studios, large agencies, game studios, and VFX houses that want to put Comfy at the center of their production pipeline. These are the accounts where Comfy goes from a tool a few artists love into infrastructure a whole org depends on. You'll inherit warm demand - many of these teams are already running ComfyUI in the wild and want a real commercial relationship. The motion is consultative and multi-threaded. Six-figure-plus deals, multiple stakeholders, real procurement, security review, and legal. Cycles run months, not days. You'll quarterback each deal end to end: build the business case, line up the right people on our side, and drive it to close - then expand. You'll own your deals and play a central part in the broader enterprise motion - running the plays, surfacing what's working, and helping the whole effort get sharper as we scale it. We're looking for someone who has closed enterprise SaaS before and can operate without a finished playbook. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of B2B SaaS AE experience with a track record of landing and growing six-figure accounts. We're also open to a strong mid-market closer ready to move up-market who has the raw material and wants the bigger game.
Responsibilities
- Own complex, multi-stakeholder deals end to end. Source and develop enterprise opportunities, run discovery, scope and orchestrate proof-of-concept work, build the business case, navigate procurement/security/legal, and close.
- Sell to the whole buying committee. Creative directors, technical artists, ML engineers, IT/security, and procurement are often in the same deal. You'll tailor the story to each and keep them aligned.
- Quarterback the deal. Pull in the right internal partners for technical proof, PMs and engineering for roadmap questions, and leadership for executive sponsorship. You run the deal; you don't do it alone.
- Land and expand. The first contract is the beginning. Build account plans that grow seats, workloads, and use cases over time.
- Contribute to the enterprise motion. The enterprise playbook at Comfy is still being written. You'll be in the thick of it - testing plays in your own deals, sharing what works, and helping sharpen how we sell at this segment.
- Ramp deep on the product. ComfyUI has real depth. You won't be selling buzzwords; you'll be credible with technical buyers and know the product well enough to scope what's real.
- Feed customer signal back into the org. What enterprise buyers need, what blocks deals, what they wish existed - that signal shapes the roadmap.
- You might be a good fit if
- You've closed enterprise B2B SaaS - six-figure-plus deals with long, multi-threaded cycles. We care about deal evidence, not logos. Show us deals you ran and how you ran them.
- You can multi-thread an org and build consensus across technical and non-technical buyers, all the way up to executive sponsors.
- You're comfortable owning forecast and pipeline rigor on deals that take months and have many moving parts.
- You can hold your own in a creative conversation. You don't need to be a ComfyUI power user, but you should be genuinely curious about the work our customers do.
- You can work without a playbook. Most of what you do this year won't have a template. You'll make the call, document what worked, and keep moving.
- You're honest about what's working and what isn't. We don't want a forecast that looks good. We want a forecast that's right.
- Bonus if you have
- Experience selling AI, ML, dev tools, or creative SaaS into the enterprise.
- Relationships in the creative industry - studios, agencies, in-house brand teams, game/VFX.
- Comfort with technical buyers (engineers, technical artists, ML practitioners) and with security/procurement processes at large orgs.
- Familiarity with ComfyUI or adjacent generative AI tools.
- Experience selling in an early or still-forming enterprise motion, not just a mature one.
- Not a fit if
- You can only operate inside a mature, fully-built enterprise playbook. Here you'll help write it.
- You're a single-threaded closer who avoids procurement, security, and the harder parts of an enterprise cycle.
- You're looking for a brand-name logo on your resume rather than the work itself.
- You bristle at direct feedback. Our cycle is fast and our notes are direct.
- Don't count yourself out
- Compensation: $250K - $350K OTE (base plus variable), with meaningful equity. Where you land in the band depends on experience. San Francisco, in-office.
