About the role

You will serve as a FINANCIAL TECHNICIAN in the BUREAU OF MEDICINE AND SURGERY of NAVDRUGLAB GREAT LAKES IL. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-08 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Experience managing cash accountability controls for receipts, disbursements, and deposits; leveraging automated systems for fund tracking and account reconciliation resolving any financial discrepancies. Experience utilizing advanced Excel functions and financial modeling tools; utilizing databases to extract, analyze and report financial data for mission support. Experience applying field purchasing and supply system regulations (NAVSUP) and implementing financial laws and internal controls to safeguard funds to ensure integrity of financial systems in accordance with command policy.
