We now have an exciting opportunity available for a Lead Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer to join us in our Engineering & Technical Solutions - Operations team in Brisbane, Melbourne or Perth on a Permanent Full Time Basis. Reporting to the Manager Engineering Design, you will play a key role in providing technical leadership and engineering expertise across a range of projects. Leveraging your advanced engineering knowledge, you will support project delivery, solve complex technical challenges, and develop high-quality, fit-for-purpose solutions while guiding and mentoring others within the team.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate engineering design activities, ensuring high-quality outcomes are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
  • Provide technical leadership and specialist advice within the engineering discipline, supporting teams to achieve successful project outcomes.
  • Review and assure the quality of engineering deliverables, ensuring compliance with relevant standards, governance requirements, and best practices.
  • Contribute to concept development and early-stage project planning by providing practical and innovative engineering input.
  • Support resource planning and workload management, including coordinating specialist expertise and external design partners where required.
  • About You
  • Degree-qualified engineer with experience delivering engineering design solutions within infrastructure, utilities, energy, resources, or a similar technical environment.
  • Strong technical expertise with the ability to solve complex engineering challenges and provide guidance to project teams and stakeholders.
  • Experience working across multiple projects and collaborating with a diverse range of stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes.
  • Sound understanding of engineering governance, quality assurance processes, and project delivery frameworks.
  • Strong organisational, communication, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
