Project Associate - Engineering

Responsibilities

• Project Planning and Execution: Assist in planning, scheduling, and coordinating engineering projects from initiation to completion.
• Creation of work breakdown structure and allocation of resource.
• Facilitate meetings, prepare minutes, and follow up on action items.
• Update project timelines and tasks considering ongoing changes in the projects.
• Documentation & Compliance: Maintain project documentation and ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
• Support audits and regulatory requirements through proper record-keeping.
• Coordination with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with Cross-Functional team members to keep the project data up to date.
• Assist in vendor coordination and procurement activities related to engineering projects
• System & Reporting: Prepare regular reports on engineering projects and resources.
• Process Improvement: Identify and suggest improvements in the project and product activities.
• Support digitalization efforts to enhance operational efficiency.
• Product Support: Understanding of Chemical Processes and support the process/product owners.
• Create and implement improvement action plan on chemical processes and product.

• Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering or science Graduate/Masters (Chemistry) with Project Experience
• How many years of professional experience in a specific professional area are required for the position?
• 1-3 years of experience in engineering support roles or projects, preferably in railway or industrial sectors.
• Strong Communication, inter-personal skills and Time/Task Management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office, knowledge in project management tools (e.g. MS Project) is added benefit.
• Excellent communication, coordination, problem-solving skills and decision making.
