Buyer cum planner (3+3 months Contract)

About the role

Woodlands Work from home can be arranged Mon to Fri 8.30am to 5.30pm Salary up $3000-$3800 Have AWS & bonus Job Description Receive orders from Customers, create sales orders and shop orders. Provide customer support and management of customer order schedule. Co-ordinate with Program Management team in providing quotes to customers. Consult with Manufacturing Department regarding equipment, manpower, and workload. Participate in meetings to discuss control problems. Ensure strategic development and implementation of long-term contracts with supply base. Manage and oversee inventories in our warehouse and at customer sites for those 'Kanban' part numbers  Receive, interpret, discuss, and edit customer and sales orders. Respond to customer inquiries such as product selection and requests for prices and quotations. Issue PO to suppliers based on actual order & forecast and expedite for material based on the shortages report generated to meet production requirement. Support NPI (FAI) activities. Maintain optimal inventory level and minimize inventory holding. Negotiate with suppliers to support cost reduction and Lead time reduction Perform other duties as requested by management.
