Design Engineer, Platform (Americas)

Infisical is the open source security infrastructure platform that engineers use for secrets management, internal PKI, key management, and SSH workflow orchestration. We help developers and organizations securely manage over 1.5 billion secrets each month including application configuration, database credentials, certificates, and more. We've raised $19M from Y Combinator, Google, and Elad Gil, and our customers include Hugging Face, Lucid, and LG. Requirements

• We're looking for a Design Engineer who is excited to own and elevate the user-facing experience of our rapidly growing platform. You should excel at creating features end-to-end with a strong focus on look and feel (~30% backend development).
• You'll be working closely with the co-founders and engineering team to:
• Revamp and elevate. Continuously improve the look, feel, and usability of Infisical. Rethink navigation, redesign workflows, and raise the bar on every surface of the product.
• Own the design system. Build and maintain a reusable component library that makes it easy for the rest of the team to ship polished UI without getting stuck on design decisions.
• Be the design voice on the team. Work closely with other engineers to unblock them on UX questions, critique implementations, and push the team to make intuitive UI.
• Build end-to-end. Take features from concept to production across the stack, with a strong focus on the frontend experience.
• Deep technical mastery of the JavaScript ecosystem, particularly React and TypeScript (3+ years of experience).
• A sharp eye for product design and intuitive UX. When you notice when something feels off, you know how to fix it.
• Exceptional attention to detail and willingness to iterate quickly with feedback.
• Based in North or South America.

• Prior experience with product design or design tools like Figma. You can contribute to the design process, not just implement it.
• Prior experience building or maintaining design systems.
• How You'll Grow
• In this role, you'll play a pivotal part in shaping Infisical's future - exploring creative product directions, owning key design decisions, building out platform interfaces, and refining existing user experiences.
• Overall, you'll have the opportunity to take full ownership of design engineering at Infisical and be one of the defining pieces of our team as we scale to thousands of customers over the next 18 months.
