  • Expected to lift and utilize full range of movement to transfer patients. Will also bend to retrieve, lift, and carry supplies and equipment. Typically includes items of varying weights, up to and including heavy items.

Job Description: A Patient Care Tech has accountability for providing care to patients in an acute care setting. This will involve caring for patients with acute and chronic needs in our iFlex internal travel department. Posting Specifics: Flat Rate: $40/hr Must have CNA license in Montana Location for the first assignment is at our Miles City, MT hospital Shift Details: Variable 12 hour shifts and will mainly work night shift Hours: 36 weekly Benefit Eligible: No Competitive pay in line with local and national travel CNA rates. Pay rates are reviewed quarterly and adjusted based on market trends; each assignment will have a consistent pay rate for the three month assignment. For assignments more than 50 miles from the employee's home, pro-rated monthly housing reimbursement will be provided. Employees are responsible for securing their own housing during each travel assignment. Travel Requirements Our iFlex CNAs are expected to float if not needed at assigned facility. All iFlex caregivers will be expected to accept assignments in any Intermountain region and work at any Intermountain facility. This includes locations in Utah, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, and Nevada. Essential Functions Respond to patient care needs by answering call lights, assisting patients with hygiene care and nourishment, obtaining vital signs, and communicating constructively, effectively and timely with members of the care team. Check and document patient vitals, glucose, inputs and outputs. Assist nurses and physicians within scope and competency. Actively participate in meeting patient experience goals. Assist with patient transfers, admissions and discharges as directed and in compliance with the principles of safe patient handling Demonstrate and adhere to the standards of infection prevention
