Under the direction of the Head Coach, the Assistant Coach / Technical Specialist supports the coaching staff with high-level, day-to-day coaching and administrative responsibilities. The position focuses on student-athlete development, competitive preparation, performance analysis, and operational support within the football program. Primary Responsibilities Assist in game preparation through video breakdown and post-game analysis, including opponent pre-scouting and position-specific evaluations. Support practice and game planning by assisting in the organization and execution of training sessions and competitive strategies as directed by the Head Coach. Record in-game activities and performance data; track statistics and key performance indicators during competitions. Analyze game and athlete performance data to identify trends, strengths, and areas for improvement; prepare post-game reports and summaries for the Head Coach. Support logistical preparation for practices and games, ensuring equipment and materials are properly maintained, available and distributed efficiently. Collaborate with coaching staff to support season objectives and promote a positive, student-centered team culture. Work with coaching staff to design and implement a long-term development plan for student-athletes, that support technical, tactical, physical, and personal growth. Other Qualifying Skills and/or Abilities NCCP Level II Certification or equivalent required Safe Sport and CCES Anti-doping training and coursework mandatory Coaching experience at the elite and/or competitive level required Knowledge of or prior practical experience in the sport of football required Strong organizational skills with ability to multitask Ability work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Punctuality, reliability, and a strong work ethic Bilingual in French and English Selected candidates must successfully pass their criminal background check.
