In this role, you will report to one of the Systems Engineering Managers. Recommended number of responsibilities is 6 but some jobs may require more responsibilities. - Test, calibrate, and troubleshoot new RF generator designs - Test and troubleshoot new PCBAs to validate performance - Conduct failure analysis on returned units, determine what is failed and make observations or measurements to identify root cause - Build test setups for specialized experiments - Travel Requirements: This position does not typically travel, but some customer support opportunities may occur. Skills You Bring: - Requires an Associate degree or equivalent technician experience - Minimum of 4+ years of related experience - Experience using oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and other electrical / RF instruments - Experience using schematics to troubleshoot PCBA problems Preferred Skills: (Optional) - Use of computers to drive tests or collect data - Proficiency with Microsoft Office - Use of LTSpice or other circuit simulation tools - PCBA soldering / rework Physical Demands and Working Conditions: - Occasionally moves/positions objects up to 35 pounds - Ability to remain in a stationary position for 75% of the time - Frequently positions self to perform tasks and positions objects below, at, and above shoulder level - Regularly requires manual dexterity and coordination of objects below, at and above shoulder level - Must be able to communicate information and ideas so others will understand - Must be able to exchange accurate information Compensation and Benefits: Pay Range: $30.48 - 50.80/hr is range is a good faith estimate of the expected salary range for this position, based on a wide range of factors including qualifications, experience and training, operational and business needs and other considerations permitted by law.
