R&D Technical Officer

Responsibilities

• Conduct research on food trends, consumer preferences, and industry developments to enhance product quality and processes.
• Develop and test new product formulations, considering taste, texture, and shelf stability.
• Conduct R&D trials and produce samples for evaluation.
• Prepare and arrange product samples for HQ and customers.
• Work closely with sales, production, and quality control teams to ensure product success.
• Stay current with food safety, labeling, packaging regulations, and industry standards.
• Document research findings, procedures, and product specifications.
• Occasionally travel on business trips to provide technical support and customer training.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the superior.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Food Science or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of working experience, preferably in food manufacturing.
• Candidates without relevant experience are welcome to apply.
• Ability to communicate in Japanese with Japanese speakers is an added advantage
• Possess a strong interest and enthusiasm in baking and hands-on laboratory work.
• Strong team player with a proactive approach and a positive attitude.
• Good presentation and communication skills.
• Demonstrated creativity and innovative problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel overseas when necessary.
• Location: Pandan Loop (West)
