- Regularly inspect works to ensure compliance with contract drawings, specifications, quality plans, and industry best practice.
- Review and provide comments on contractor RAMS for submission to the P2W permit system.
- Programme & Reporting
- Monitor and provide feedback on the contract programme.
- Maintain a comprehensive site diary.
- Prepare detailed daily reports including (but not limited to):
- Site and weather conditions
- Labour, plant, and material resources
- Material deliveries
- Work locations and activities
- Safety performance and issues
- Quality performance and observations
- Stakeholder & Team Coordination
- Liaise with stakeholders before, during, and after project completion.
- Work collaboratively with all relevant daa departments, including landside operations, airside operations, TSOs, and others.
- Attend site progress meetings and complete all assigned follow-up actions.
- Participate in design meetings where input is required and complete related actions.
- Sign off on projects and documentation as required.
- Embrace new systems and processes of work and attend training necessary to maintain required competencies.
- Contract Administration
- Where required, fulfil the responsibilities of the NEC Supervisor, acting independently from the Project Manager in accordance with contract requirements.

- As the successful candidate you will have experience working within our infrastructure market along with having the following qualfications and experience.
- Proven experience delivering major civil and/or building works projects within the aviation sector. Experience working on airport construction projects at international airports, or within similarly highly regulated environments, is highly desirable.
- Strong technical knowledge of infrastructure engineering and project delivery, with particular expertise in construction methodologies and execution strategies.
- Demonstrated experience developing, documenting, and implementing best-practice construction frameworks, policies, standards, and procedures.
- Experience engaging with and influencing stakeholders at all organisational levels to drive process improvements and strengthen project delivery governance.
- Practical experience operating in a site-based role within an aviation environment.
- Working knowledge of the NEC and FIDIC suites of contracts, including their practical application in construction project delivery.

Start here. Grow here. At AECOM, we are currently recruiting for an Infrastructure Project Engineer to join us at our Dublin office. The Project Engineer will be required to attend site three days per week and two days per week will be remote working. Here's what you'll do: Your day to day will include but not be limited to the following tasks and responsibilities: The Project Engineer will be assigned to the Delivery team within the Infrastructure Department's Portfolio, working across multiple engineering disciplines, including civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical. The role involves supporting the planning, coordination, and management of construction quality assurance and quality control, as well as providing construction supervision as required across the Portfolio. The Project Engineer will help ensure that all projects are delivered safely and in alignment with established quality standards, schedules, and budget targets. The Project Engineer will undertake duties as assigned by the Project Manager and Head of Construction, providing on-site leadership and oversight during project construction phases.
