About the role
The objective of our North America teams involved in the digital transformation / CIO advisory projects is to help position Wavestone as the trusted advisory partner of Chiefs Technology Officers (CTO) and Chiefs Information Officers (CIO) in their most ambitious technological and organizational transformations. As businesses navigate accelerating digital transformation and increasing competitive pressure, particularly from new players in the tech sector, Chiefs Technology Officers (CTO) need to respond to the following challenges: IT Strategy & Transformation: Designing and implementing strategies that align IT with business goals, including cloud migration, digital operating models, and large-scale technology roadmaps. Optimization & Delivery Models: Enhancing IT and business process sourcing, streamlining vendor management, and driving cost efficiencies while enabling new modes of digital collaboration and tool adoption.
Responsibilities
- Lead workstreams and small engagements autonomously, managing priorities, risks, resources, and deliverables while ensuring high-quality output from the team.
- Provide expert-driven recommendations, applying deep subject-matter knowledge, conducting strong qualitative analysis, and staying current on market and industry trends.
- Communicate with clarity and confidence, facilitate client meetings, present results effectively, and build trust with stakeholders.
- Develop and mentor junior team members, sharing expertise, giving constructive feedback, and fostering growth across Analysts and Consultants.
- Contribute to Wavestone's growth, proactively support business development, nurturing client relationships, spotting new opportunities, and participating in marketing, content creation, and internal initiatives.

- Education
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, economics, or another analytical field.
- (Master's preferred).
- Required Experience
- 3+ years' experience in external client-facing technology transformation consulting.
- Experience leading and supporting complex technology and transformation initiatives including strategy, systems implementation, operating model transformations, or digital modernization efforts.
- Experience applying analytical methods to business problems, driving collaborative decision-making, and ensuring data integrity.
- Experience collaborating across major business functions (Finance, HR, IT, Operations, Compliance, Marketing, etc) and working with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the confidence to engage senior leadership and create compelling MS Office deliverables-especially PowerPoint.
- Proven contribution to business development, including proposal shaping, identifying opportunities, or securing extensions.
- Ability to travel as required.

Location and Travel: Must reside in the greater Toronto area or within a reasonable driving distance to support in-person client meetings, team collaboration, and local business activities as needed.
