Responsibilities

• Complete independent dysphagia assessments for children in community settings
• Conduct early years communication assessments and deliver targeted intervention
• Lead and contribute to EHCP reviews
• Support children with a range of developmental needs and disabilities
• Work with communication aids and devices, particularly for early years
• Maintain accurate and compliant clinical documentation
• Qualifications & Experience
• HCPC‑registered Speech & Language Therapist
• Paediatric dysphagia experience/training (essential)
• Experience working with children under 5 (essential)
• Confident using AAC/communication aids
• Strong background in paediatric community practice

This role focuses on early years intervention and dysphagia support for children under five, working within a well‑established community team. You will carry out independent assessments, deliver early communication provision, and contribute to statutory processes, including EHCP reviews. The caseload includes children with a range of developmental needs and disabilities.
