Supply Chain & Procurement Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain & Procurement Manager to oversee purchasing operations for a manufacturing facility producing custom-engineered electrical and industrial equipment. This position is responsible for ensuring materials, components, and fabricated parts are available to support production schedules while driving supplier performance, cost control, and supply chain efficiency. The ideal candidate has a strong background in manufacturing procurement and understands how purchasing decisions affect production, inventory, and customer delivery. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Operations, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 5-10 years of procurement, purchasing, or supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience supporting custom manufacturing, fabrication, or engineer-to-order operations.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing materials, including:
• Sheet metal
• Busbar copper and aluminum
• Electrical components
• Experience using ERP or MRP software.
• Excellent negotiation, organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
