Crew Accounts Executive

Responsibilities

• Review and validate crewing-related expenses submitted by vessels, manning agencies, and port agents.
• Manage crew accounting activities, including manning agent settlements and port disbursement accounts.
• Coordinate with Vessel Masters and port agents on Cash-to-Master (CTM) requirements and arrangements.
• Accurately process and record financial transactions in the BASS accounting system.
• Liaise with vessels, manning agencies, port agents, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth handling of crew-related accounting matters.
• Prepare reports, schedules, and supporting documentation for monthly and periodic financial closing activities.
• Support management with ad-hoc assignments and special projects as required.

Requirements

• Diploma in Maritime Studies, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in crew accounting, maritime accounting, or a similar finance-related role.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
• Experience in fleet accounting, crew accounts, manning agent accounts, and port disbursements will be an added advantage.
• Strong coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Meticulous with strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; knowledge of the BASS accounting system will be advantageous.
• Able to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Salary : S$3000.00 - $4,500.00
