This is a full-time, in-person position.
Responsibilities
- Assist in implementing the project's safety program and promoting a zero-accident culture.
- Monitor daily construction activities for compliance with OSHA standards and company safety policies.
- Support safety inspections and help identify and correct deficiencies in the field.
- Maintain accurate safety documentation and assist with training sessions on topics such as fall protection, confined space, and OSHA requirements.
- Collaborate with project teams and trade partners to ensure safety compliance and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Required:
- A bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, safety management, or a related field.
- Strong communication, time management, and collaboration skills, and a "team first" mindset.
- Ability to identify and resolve safety issues effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Preferred:
- Internship or prior experience in construction or engineering environment.
- Formal safety training, including OSHA 10, OSHA 30, and knowledge of fall protection, excavation, and confined space protocols.
- Professional safety certifications (e.g., CSP, CHSP).
- Willingness to relocate for project assignments and career growth opportunities.
