Medical Communications Director

Requirements

• Advanced degree in life sciences, medicine, pharmacy, or a related healthcare field required; PhD or Master's degree strongly preferred.
• Minimum 8-10 years of experience in medical communications, scientific writing, or related areas, including experience within a medical communications agency environment.
• Experience managing medical writers and overseeing scientific content development across a range of medical communications deliverables.
• Strong understanding of accreditation processes, regulatory standards, and compliance requirements within the healthcare/pharmaceutical landscape.
• Proven track record of client service, strategic insight, and successful project delivery.
• Excellent scientific writing, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, compelling narratives.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced, client-driven environment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in scientific and clinical writing, experience in HCP and patient education, expertise in digital communications, a client-focused approach, and the ability to present and interpret data with impact. This role will have three primary areas of focus: 1. Provide scientific and medical writing services across multiple projects and program types. 2.
