About the role The Web Product Owner is responsible for the end-to-end ownership, governance, prioritization, measurement, and delivery of website initiatives across the organization. This role serves as the primary point of accountability for website requests, enhancements, support requirements, and roadmap management, ensuring alignment between business priorities and website execution. The role works closely with internal stakeholders, including the Web Team (UX/UI, SEO, and Content), Marketing, Product and Strategy teams, Technology, and external web development partners to ensure website initiatives are effectively prioritized, delivered, measured, and maintained. The Web Product Owner is accountable for maintaining a healthy website backlog, managing the website roadmap, driving cross-functional collaboration, and ensuring the overall health, performance, visibility, and governance of the website Website Product Ownership & Roadmap Management Own and maintain the overall website roadmap, ensuring alignment with business priorities and strategic objectives. Serve as the primary owner and point of accountability for all website enhancement, support, and optimization requests. Manage website demand intake, prioritization, and backlog governance. Develop and maintain a transparent prioritization framework balancing business, customer, technical, compliance, SEO, and UX/UI requirements. Facilitate roadmap planning, release planning, and prioritization discussions with stakeholders. Ensure website initiatives are appropriately scoped, documented, and prioritized. Website Delivery & Execution Coordinate the end-to-end delivery of website enhancements, projects, releases, and support initiatives. Partner with internal and external development teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of website requirements. Track project progress, dependencies, risks, and delivery timelines. Proactively identify and resolve blockers impacting delivery. Ensure proper testing, stakeholder signoffs, and release readiness prior to deployment. Stakeholder & Vendor Management Act as the primary liaison between business teams and website delivery teams. Manage relationships with SEO, UX/UI, Content, Technology, Compliance, Marketing, and external vendors. Facilitate alignment among stakeholders with competing priorities. Communicate roadmap updates, delivery progress, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders. Manage agency and vendor performance against agreed deliverables and service levels. Website Performance Measurement & Reporting Define success metrics and performance measures for website initiatives and enhancements. Establish and maintain website performance dashboards and reporting frameworks. Monitor and report on website delivery, backlog health, website performance, and operational KPIs. Ensure post-launch measurement and review of website initiatives. Provide insights and recommendations to support continuous website improvement. Website Health, Performance & Visibility Monitor website uptime, stability, performance, and operational health. Partner with SEO, UX/UI, Content, and Development teams to continuously improve website effectiveness. Ensure technical SEO requirements are appropriately prioritized and implemented. Monitor website health indicators, technical issues, and performance trends. Drive resolution of critical website issues and technical debt. Promote best practices for website usability, accessibility, and performance. Governance & Compliance Ensure website initiatives comply with internal governance, brand standards, legal, regulatory, and security requirements. Maintain website documentation, process, and change management controls. Ensure required approvals are secured prior to deployment. Support audit and compliance requirements relating to website changes and operations. Ensure website design and visual output adhere to brand and UX standard. Must Haves Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field or experience. Agile, Scrum, Product Management, or Digital Product certifications are preferred 5-8 years of experience in website managemen
