Responsibilities
- Manage royalty and facility charge configurations in Metrix, including interpretation of Land and Joint Interest (JI) changes
- Prepare and account for netback uploads across oil, gas, and NGL production streams
- Perform and manage facility charge-out configurations and reviews, and support accruals and equalization processes
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders (Engineering, Operations, Land, Royalty,
- audit, Equalization) and engage external partners/auditors as required
- Provide PRA subject matter expertise, supporting system/process changes, prioritizing amendments, and delivering hands-on support to meet deadlines and resource needs.
Requirements
- Our ideal candidate will have the following minimum requirements:
- Legally authorized to work in Canada
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in full-cycle production accounting, including extensive experience with Alberta, Saskatchewan, and BC conventional, heavy oil, Thermal, Oil Sands, and Thermal properties.
- Bachelor's degree or CAPPA designation, or equivalent combination of education or relevant work experience.
- Proficiency with production accounting systems, including Metrix, Petrinex, Energy Components (EC), PVR, ERP systems, Energylink and land systems
- Advanced Excel skills with strong data management and reporting capabilities
