Within the Military Product Management & Customer Support Organization, as Engine Field Service Representative you will be temporarily deployed in Kuwait, reporting to the On-Site Customer Support Manager, for a period of 3 years minimum, and you will be the Customer primary point of contact providing On Site technical support and advice on engines maintenance and during flight operations. In this role you will be fully integrated into the Customer Propulsion/Power-plant team and into Customer Flight Line, with the responsibility to minimize disruption to the fleet operation. Job Description Essential Responsibilities Support pre-post flight checks and engine preparation to achieve "ready to flight" status Serve as first point-of-contact for engine-related advice/issues on-wing and off-wing at MOB (Main Operating Base) /TPSF (Typhoon Propulsion Support Facility) Evaluate, by means of ground support systems and Engine Health Monitoring (EHM) subsystem, the data from FADEC (Full Authority Digital Engine) to support maintenance activities, fault diagnosis and engine health monitoring Provide technical advice and assistance to Flight Line operations (i.e. troubleshooting, fault-isolation, maintenance procedure interpretation, best practices) Sentencing advice on any engine related item (Engine/Module/LRI/Aircraft Ground Equipment) Prepare and issue Query & Answer (QA) to support maintenance activities Provide technical support to Engine Ground Run (EGR) and functional check/test activities Advise on Engine and LRI's removal/installation procedures Provide clarification/support on tooling, technical publications and other propulsion technical issues Act as initial Customer interface for materiel support at MOB and hand off to Logistic Material & Fleet Manager Support borescope inspection of engines and modules Perform and assure engine data collection Act as Certifying Staff (as applicable/authorized) Qualifications/Requirements Bachelor's degree in Aerospace / Mechanical Engineering or a high school diploma with solid experience. Experience in multinational /multicultural environment Good knowledge of military propulsion systems, aerospace service operations and Customer operational needs Strong knowledge of Aerospace Technical Publication Systems Product Knowledge to allow sentencing and resolution of technical issues. Capable of Technical Reporting Knowledge and skills in using "On A/C" AGE Aircraft Ground Equipment Knowledge of Engine Logbook for consultation and analysis of engine and engine parts data Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations applicable to an aerospace environment (and in particular aircraft flight line) Strong knowledge of airworthiness / flight safety regulations and compliance Strong technical knowledge of engine performance, vibration and engine systems Knowledge of IT systems & tools (related to aircraft support systems) Excellent oral and written communication skills Strong problem-solving skills Fluent written and spoken Italian and English Work Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is required Eligible for Kuwait Work Visa Eligible for NATO Security Clearance Desired Characteristics Understanding of contract commitments and KPI implications Understanding of availability service and balancing inventory/costs Understanding of requirements for receipt and dispatch of hardware Understanding of Fleet Management, modelling, forecasting and reporting Leading initiatives of moderate scope and impact Ability to coordinate multiple tasks Strong analytical and organizational skills Strong ability to influence others
