THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a SUPPORT SERVICES SPECIALIST, Position Description Number D1595P02 and is part of the KS Joint Forces Headquarters, National Guard. Military Grades: E1 through E9, WO1 through CW5, O1 through O4 Compatible Military Assignments: Immaterial GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Experience, education or training in administrative, professional, technical, or other work that provided knowledge of support services. Knowledge of administrative methods and procedures used in planning and organizing work, and skill in dealing with others in person-to-person work relationships. Experience working with people from various levels and backgrounds to obtain their cooperation or compliance with procedures, rules, or practices. Experience using computer and automation systems. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must have 1-year specialized experience, education or training equivalent to at least the next lower grade level. Must have experience, education, or training dealing with management principles and supervisory responsibility for support service functions required by type of position to be filled and the organization involved. Physical Demands: The work is primarily sedentary, with no unusual physical demands Work Environment: The work is performed in a typical office setting, with no unusual risks or hazards.
