About the role

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY GENERAL ENGINEER for the Surface Weapons Technical Representative (TechRep) Office in Tucson, AZ. The TechRep Branch is administratively part of the WEAPON SYSTEMS INTEGRATED PRODUCTS DIVISION, WEAPONS AND ENERGETICS DEPARTMENT of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV CHINA LAKE. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NM-04 (GS-13/14) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate duties related to some or all of the following: 1) Serving as a Subject Matter Expertise in Standard Missile (2/3/6) programs; 2) Demonstrating leadership across development, production, sustainment, and life cycle management; 3) Demonstrating comprehensive experience with acquisition lifecycle phases, including Engineering Manufacturing Development, transition to production, operational sustainment; 4) Possessing first-hand knowledge of Contracting processes, including Statement of Work generation, proposal evaluations, and providing data-backed recommendations; 5) Demonstrating leadership, engineering, and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder management, conflict resolution, technical writing, mentoring, and ability to make recommendations to senior leadership; 6) Demonstrating experience in Configuration management, security policy, and ensuring compliance across various classification levels.
