We're looking for a Site Traffic Management Specialist (STMS) to join our Wellington Transport Alliance (WTA) Team in the Wellington Region. You'll assist with the traffic management on site, ensuring a strong commitment to safety, by ensuring the safe flow of traffic around the state highway network. In this role, you'll be at the forefront of delivering safe, compliant, and efficient traffic management across the State Highway network. You'll work alongside a supportive, close knit team who are passionate about connecting communities and making a real difference across the Wellington region. This role is Night Shift usually hours worked between 7pm and 7am, Sunday to Thursday, with a minimum of 40 hours per week Ngā kawenga matua | Key responsibilities Managing the temporary traffic management requirements across the Wellington Transport Alliance network Site setups Mentoring and being a role model for fellow Workmates with TTM Managing TTM sites Report all incidents, accidents and near misses Proactively lead the health, safety and wellbeing of everyone on site in line with company standards, procedures and regulations. You will need to be flexible as this role will require you to work overtime and weekends when necessary. Category A STMS Practising or Category B STMS Practising or Category C STMS Practising Experience working within traffic management and civil construction space.
