Dental Assistant

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures while helping patients feel comfortable
• Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment
• Take dental radiographs (x-rays)
• Manage infection control by preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment
• Provide patients with follow-up instructions following all dental treatment procedures
• Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health

Requirements

• Prior Dental Assistant experience required
• Prior working experience with Dentrix highly preferred
• Dental Assistant Certificate where state regulations specify
• X-ray certification where state regulations specify

Compensation Range: $18 - $20 per hour based on experience Work Schedule: This Dental Assistant will rotate work schedule every other week Week 1 - Monday 8 AM - 5 PM / Tuesday 8 AM - 5:50 PM / Wednesday 9 AM - 5PM / Thursday 7 AM - 2PM Week 2 - Tuesday 8 AM - 5:30 PM / Wednesday 9 AM - 5 PM / Thursday 7 AM - 2 PM / Friday 7 AM - 2 PM Job Description Dental Assistants are an integral member of our team and help foster our clinically led culture.
