Responsibilities

  • Provide GPS Operations s upport to teams located at Schriever SFB.
  • PNT, a s trodynamic analytical support, algorithm development, and modeling and simulation analysis for GPS and space surveillance systems and missions.

  • Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, physics, mathematics, or another related technical discipline
  • 2 or more years of industry experience
  • E xperience with GPS, PNT, SDA, or space control mission areas
  • Experience in modeling, simulation, analysis, and/or algorithm development
  • Experience in at least one the following programming languages; Java, C++, Python, MATLAB, C, or FORTRAN.
  • Good interpersonal communication and briefing skills along with the ability to work independently and interact effectively with high-level government, Aerospace, and contractor personnel.
  • This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance, which is issued by the U.S. government. U.S. citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance.

  • Current SECRET or TS/SCI clearance.
  • Strong b ackground in GPS operations .
  • Strong background in astrodynamics analysis or estimation

The Space Control and Awareness Department (SCAD) is seeking a new team member to support GPS mission operations and analyses . SCAD performs concept development, systems engineering, architecture analysis, algorithm development and evaluation support for national security space customers emphasizing space domain awareness (SDA), Radar, Electro-Optical (EO) and Infrared (IR) sensors, Position Navigation and Timing (PNT), orbit determination, and space protection and security. The GPS Operations and Space Domain Awareness Analyst will provide support and analysis to GPS operations, algorithm development, and modeling and simulation for space protection and space domain awareness . Candidate will interact directly with government customers and contractor teams, as well as Aerospace program office personnel in the Colorado Springs area and collaborate closely with Engineering and Technology Group (ETG) and program office personnel in El Segundo, CA, Chantilly, VA, and other locations. Work Model : This is a 100% on-site position located in Colorado Springs, CO.
