About the role
We are looking for an Office Centralisation Intern to support the Finance Operations team. In this role, you'll work closely with stores and support teams to provide transactional processing, resolve issues, and identify opportunities to improve processes, systems, and ways of working. This internship offers hands‑on exposure to finance operations, customer service, and continuous improvement within a large, complex organisation.
Responsibilities
- Assist with transactional processing across non‑customer‑facing areas, including bank and GL reconciliations, accounts payable activities, vendor management, and Christmas Club and gift card reconciliations.
- Work with store teams to identify, resolve, and prevent recurring issues, escalating or recommending solutions where required.
- Provide timely responses to ad‑hoc queries and offer basic coaching within your areas of understanding.
- Identify process inefficiencies and contribute ideas to improve accuracy, efficiency, and customer service.
- Support a collaborative, customer‑focused environment across store and centre teams.
