KBR is seeking a Senior Sustainment Systems Engineer to support a Space Systems Command (SSC) Program Management Office (PMO) located at Peterson Space Force Base (PSFB), CO. We conduct Operations & Sustainment (O&S) activities for state-of-the-art Military and Commercial Satellite Communications (SATCOM) and Nuclear Command, Control and Communications (NC3) systems, providing global secure, survivable and protected communications for our Nation's warfighters. We are looking for an experienced, proactive Systems Engineer who is a self-starter capable of autonomous, on-the-job, learning/growth while working in a collaborative environment of small teams. The ideal candidate will employ their skills and experience to tackle technical challenges and drive executable solutions for legacy and transitioning strategic and tactical space-based telecommunication capabilities. This opportunity is an engineering management position where the ideal candidate will not only have the required technical acumen, but also the ability to proactively engage and effectively manage technical baselines using established/proven government systems engineering, integration & test (SEIT) processes and procedures to advance O&S activities for legacy and transitioning capabilities employed in the field. Join our high-functioning, high-performing MSEIT Sustainment Integrated Product Team (IPT) and be an important part of directly and positively affecting Joint and Allied combat readiness as they employ MILSATCOM and NC3 space systems, terminals and software applications worldwide during full spectrum military operations. The MILSATCOM Systems Engineering, Integration, and Test (MSEIT) effort provides leading edge Systems Engineering & Integration (SE&I) for the Space Force's Space Systems Command. We support the Space Force's acquisition of state-of-the-art Military Satellite Communications systems, providing global secure protected communications for our nation's warfighters.
