Travel Interventional Cath Lab Technologist - $3,806 per week

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / Vascular Imaging Tech for a 7-on/7-off overnight call coverage role supporting a hybrid vascular OR with vascular surgery procedures including arterial, venous, and AAA interventions. Details Coverage role in a hybrid vascular OR supporting three vascular surgeons Procedures include arterial, visceral, and venous interventions, AAA stent grafts, and peripheral vascular interventions with possible conversion to open surgery Scrub technologist coverage is available when cases convert to open Call coverage runs from 4:00 PM to 7:30 AM Monday through Friday, with 24-hour call on Saturday and Sunday Average call-in/late cases occur approximately twice per week 4x10 hour night shifts, 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM 7-on/7-off schedule

Requirements

• Experience as a Cath Lab Tech, Interventional Radiology Tech, or Special Procedures Tech; RCIS or scrub tech with appropriate vascular skill set also considered
• Proficiency with tray setup, power injector, table operation, X-ray and imaging setup including DSA, and radiation safety
• Experience scrubbing and assisting with wires, catheters, balloons, stents, and interventional/closure devices
• BLS required
• Missouri does not have a statewide licensure requirement for operating X-ray equipment; license required if applicable
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
• Additional Information
• Provide imaging and scrub coverage for the hybrid vascular room during after-hours and weekend call
• Ability to scrub open vascular cases is a strong plus
• A surgical tech will be available to take over scrub duties if a percutaneous case converts to open surgery
