About the role

In this role, you will be a critical driver of financial integrity and operational scale for our global subsidiaries. Reporting directly to the Director of Accounting, you will handle key financial processes and contribute to pioneering process improvement projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. At Applied Intuition, you will: International Close & Consolidation: Manage the local statutory close and ensure alignment with the US GAAP consolidation timeline and tax reporting requirements Intercompany Management: Ensure inter-company transactions are properly recorded, eliminated in consolidation, and aligned with global transfer pricing policies Statutory Compliance: Coordinate with international teams and external tax advisors to ensure local statutory requirements and transfer pricing adjustments are met External Bookkeeper Management: Take ownership of external bookkeeping relationships, specifically managing workflows for international partners International Expertise: Manage and lead functional currency of subsidiaries, translation rates for financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L, Equity), and foreign currency impact under ASC 830 Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in team processes (e.g., inter-company matching or PTP cycles) and implement scalable, automated solutions Global Expansion: Assess and lead the scaling of the general ledger team to support international growth Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities within the Accounting organization Assist with ad hoc analyses and special projects as needed We're looking for someone who has: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 8+ years of relevant accounting experience, ideally with a mix of Big 4 public accounting and technology company roles Proficiency with NetSuite and Excel is required Strong analytical and data aggregation skills, with a high level of attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across internal teams and external vendors Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in handling financial data Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment Compensation at Applied Intuition for eligible roles includes base salary, equity, and benefits. Base salary is a single component of the total compensation package, which may also include equity in the form of options and/or restricted stock units, comprehensive health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance coverage, 401k retirement benefits with employer match, learning and wellness stipends, and paid time off. Note that benefits are subject to change and may vary based on jurisdiction of employment. Applied Intuition pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum intended target base salary for new hire salaries for the position. The actual base salary offered to a successful candidate will additionally be influenced by a variety of factors including experience, credentials & certifications, educational attainment, skill level requirements, interview performance, and the level and scope of the position.
