Responsibilities

  • Specific Duties
  • Provide face‑to‑face and remote support to students, staff, and visitors
  • Log, manage, and resolve ICT incidents within defined SLAs and KPIs
  • Deliver exceptional customer service at all times
  • Build, configure, and deploy end‑user devices for staff and students
  • Install and update applications on user devices
  • Support printers, projectors, and other school equipment
  • Complete administrative tasks including asset management and documentation
  • Support school events such as open evenings, parents' evenings, and other scheduled activities
  • Work collaboratively with other ICT engineers to maintain a reliable, high‑availability environment
  • Typical working hours are 8:00am - 4:00pm, Monday to Friday, with flexibility required based on school and business needs.

  • ABOUT YOU
  • The ideal candidate will be driven, customer‑focused, and enthusiastic about delivering high‑quality ICT support within an educational environment, with a strong track record of problem‑solving and delivering results.
  • The Ideal Candidate
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and products (Windows 10/11 and Windows Server)
  • Experience supporting hardware and software, including PCs, laptops, printers, and projectors
  • Understanding of networking fundamentals and troubleshooting in a managed environment
  • Familiarity with mixed Apple and Microsoft environments, including basic Apple device support
  • Experience building, configuring, and deploying end‑user devices across different operating systems
  • Good understanding of networked printers, including MFD devices
  • Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to support non‑technical users
  • Proven problem‑solving ability with a proactive and organised approach
  • Experience working in an IT support or customer‑focused environment (education experience desirable)
  • Minimum of 5 GCSEs (Grade C/4 or above), including English and Mathematics, a full clean driving licence, and the ability to pass an Enhanced DBS check are required.
