Responsibilities

  • In this varied role, you'll support the team through a combination of accounts administration and general administrative activities, including:
  • Reconciling and investigating parts, fuel and battery transactions.
  • Identifying and resolving discrepancies across sundry accounts receivable processes.
  • Supporting accounts payable activities, including contractor payments and adjustment claims.
  • Investigating incomplete or invalid transactions to ensure accurate recovery and payment processes.
  • Building and maintaining positive relationships with internal teams, contractors and external suppliers.
  • Using reporting systems and business tools to process and analyse information.
  • Providing general administrative support and assisting colleagues across the team as required .

Requirements

  • We're looking for someone who is proactive, organised and enjoys delivering high-quality work. You'll also have:
  • Previous experience in administration, accounts payable or accounts receivable within a medium to large organisation.
  • Experience working with the RAC Roadside products is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to investigate and resolve issues effectively.
  • Confidence working with a range of stakeholders and building collaborative relationships.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, Teams and SharePoint.
  • The ability to prioritise competing tasks and meet deadlines.
  • A customer-focused mindset and commitment to delivering excellent service.
  • A positive, adaptable approach and willingness to support the broader team.

We're looking for an organised and detail-oriented Administration Officer to join our Motoring Financial Services team. In this role, you'll provide essential administrative and financial support that helps keep our motoring services operating effectively and ensures our members receive the service they expect from RAC. If you enjoy investigating discrepancies, working with numbers and collaborating with a variety of stakeholders, we'd love to hear from you. This role is offered on an initial 12month Contract/Secondment basis (with the potential for extension), and will be based on our Joondalup office.
