Job DescriptionSalary: $3308.67 per month / $39704.00 per yearBasic Purpose : This position is assigned responsibilities involving the operation of various types of equipment or machinery in performing various maintenance or construction activities, or in completing other functions involving the use of equipment or machinery.Essential Functions:-Operates a heavy bulldozer or tractor and scraper unit in earth-moving operations or similar maintenance or construction work.-Operates a heavy-duty truck tractor used for hauling unusually large equipment; drives and operates large striping machine used in painting center lines and no passing stripes.-Operates a heavy truck in the loading, transporting and distribution of valuable retail merchandise, heavy construction equipment and other materials.-Operates a motor grader powered with gasoline or diesel engine used in work of a routine nature such as grading of gravel roads and shoulders.-Performs or participates in preventive maintenance of equipment operated; moves equipment from one job to another.This job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job. Duties, responsibilities and activities may change at any time with or without notice.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities : Knowledge, Skills and Abilities required at this level include knowledge of the operation and maintenance of heavy, complicated power equipment.Skill is required to operate heavy complicated power equipment.Ability is required to follow oral and written instructions; and to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.Education and Experience: Two (2) years of experience operating and maintaining medium-to-heavy power equipment or an equivalent combination of education and experience. The substitution of education can be made for only one (1) year of the required experience.Licenses/Certificates required : NonePhysical Requirements :Able to lift, carry, push or pull a minimum of 60 pounds.Able to stand for long periods of time.Able to climb ladders and stairs.Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.Conditions of Employment :Contingent on a favorable NCIC/OSBI background checkContingent on passing a pre-employment drug & alcohol screeningConsidered essential personnel ( may work during inclement weather)Available to work if called in due to an emergencyMust maintain a valid driver's licenseT1 security clearance --(Eligibility for national security positions shall be granted only to persons who are U.S. citizens.)Tobacco and Vape Free facilityFLSA Non-Exempt statusServe a 12-month trial periodFederal poDental insuranceEquity / stock options
