Minimum Qualifications: Qualified candidates will possess at least one year of work experience performing duties equivalent in scope and complexity to the next lower grade level to include: 1. Extensive experience in applying acquisition laws, contract principles, statues, Executive Orders, regulations and/or procedures applicable to pre-award and post award actions. 2. Experience in procuring and administering contracts for a wide variety of supplies, services, and construction. 3. Experience leading, teaching, and mentoring others. 4. Must have experience creating and delivering formal written and oral presentations to various levels (i.e., writing complex acquisition plans, statements of work, solicitations, contracts and supporting documentation; conducting proposal conferences, site visits, evaluation panels, and debriefings). Highly Qualifications: Preferred candidates will possess on top of the minimum qualifications: 1. A general business acumen and understanding of economics. 2. Three (3) years of experience in any of the following areas: acquisition, procurement and contract administration. 3. Willingness to negotiate pricing and terms and conditions with vendors. 4. Experience submitting Army correspondence in final draft, including data preparation and reporting documents, award decision memoranda, information papers, spreadsheets and/or slides. 5. Experience interpreting and applying rules, regulations and policies. 6. Knowledge of simplified and formal acquisition processes. 7. Willingness to train, coach and mentor others. 8. Leadership skills and the ability to maintain a team motivated and engaged. 9. The ability to review and critic work produced by subordinate staff in a constructive and tactful manner. 10. A bachelor's degree which included a minimum of 24 semester hours of business courses, Certified Professional Contracts Manager, Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act Level II/II in contracting or other applicable professional certification. All Qualified applicants will be rated against the highly qualifying criteria by a rating panel for evaluation of the quality and extent of your total accomplishments, experience and education.
