Additional Information

Ensure timely renewal of all vehicle/trailer VPC, road tax, and SCDF Petroleum & Flammable Material transport licenses. Ensure periodic inspections for pressure vessels, vacuum trucks, air compressors, lorry cranes, hook lifts, and open-top containers. Enforce strict compliance with safety regulations, conduct accident investigations, report to insurers within 24 hours, and follow up on claims. Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures and Risk Assessments for fleet operations. Plan, coordinate, and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance of vehicles, trailers, forklifts, compressors, pumps, and other equipment. Ensure servicing, inspections, and repairs are completed on schedule and within approved budgets. Verify tire wear/damage before replacement approval, conduct post-maintenance quality checks, and update service records promptly. Support troubleshooting and diagnosis of breakdowns, including emergency call response. Coordinate with internal and external workshops, ensuring clear communication of repair scope and timely progress updates. Source, evaluate, and engage contractors, vendors, and suppliers for repair and maintenance services. Obtain required approvals for quotations and external workshop repairs, ensuring compliance with company procurement policies and procedures. Identify opportunities for cost reduction, efficiency improvement, and process optimization. Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding fleet status, maintenance progress, and emergency incidents. Participate in regular meetings, dialogues, and feedback sessions to align business processes with company policies and staff expectations. Promote a culture of continuous improvement and safety awareness across all fleet operations.
