Located in downtown Seattle, our Civil Engineering team is seeking a Civil Engineer with 4 - 7 years experience. This position will provide the opportunity for you to dive headfirst into real-world projects from day one. You'll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to the design and development of civil infrastructure across the Pacific Northwest and beyond; as well as: Lead and support design efforts in site planning, grading, drainage, utility layout, and stormwater systems. Utilize AutoCAD, Civil 3D, AutoTurn, and other design software to produce detailed drawings, conduct vehicular turning studies, and support engineering analysis. Prepare and review technical reports, drainage studies, feasibility analyses, and design presentations to communicate project findings and recommendations. Assist in managing project tasks, coordinating timelines, budgets, and resources to meet deliverables. Prepare draft proposals and scopes of work Collaborate with contractors, consultants, and internal teams, providing expert guidance throughout project execution. Build strong client relationships by understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions. Research jurisdictional codes and manuals to determine design requirements. Assist with permitting processes, liaise with regulatory agencies, and uphold high standards of design quality and regulatory compliance. Conduct site visits to perform assessments, verify compliance with design standards, observe construction progress, and ensure adherence to best practices. Serve as a trusted advisor, offering expert guidance and proactive support throughout project execution. Drive sustainable civil engineering solutions. Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying innovative approaches to improve processes and project outcomes.
